More Before and After Citra Solv

posted in: CRAFTY HOW TO | 0

Awhile back I shared some before and after images of National Geographic magazine pages altered with Citra Solv concentrated cleaner.  Today I am sharing another batch so that you can see the unexpected ways the inks dissolve and transform into lovely papers to use in collage and mixed media artwork.

I want to paper a wall with my NG pages. Can I simply use wallpaper paste? If I want to antique or just “seal finish” the project, what would I use?

I haven’t done it, but I think wall paper paste should work. There are many options to seal the papers, including spray on fixatives, matte or gloss medium, or Mod Podge. For a large area, a simple school glue and water mixture might work well. Sounds lovely! Would love a photo when you are done!
