I held a couple of “Paint with Paper” workshops at Tessera Fine Art Gallery on Saturday. Participants were give a 6 inch stretched canvas, and asked to create a piece using ONLY paper. All shading and every thing was done with paper.

We had birds, flowers, coffee cups and even a zebra. Some chose to work in their journal insyeaf of the canvas. They all tuned out great!

  3. These are amazing … so, just so you know, I’m not a stalker … feel like I comment too much on your blog 🙂 … however, would love to see you do a video tutorial, I would totally purchase a class to learn how to do this b/c I love the concept and the results … all of these are just wonderful! Great students and bet they had a blast!

    • Not at all.. your comments and encouragement are very appreciated. Video is still one of my goals…so keep after me!

  4. What a superb job everyone did! The teacups really appeal to me (as I am a tea addict like most Brits) and I also love the bird.

    • I think I will be doing several more cups as they appeal to me also. I did think everyone did a great job, and I love how different they each look with the artist’s personality really shining through!
