Stamp Carving Workshop

September is right around the corner, (already!!!) and will be full of fun events.  Last week I told about the three workshops coming up soon at Tessera Fine Art Gallery.  I also have a workshop coming up at Carriage Factory Gallery in Newton on September 17.

This is such a fun class because the participants are always so successful in creating some lovely, one of a kind, hand carved stamps to use on their cards, in their artwork, scrapbooks, journals, even in quilt making!

The class includes working with several different kinds of stamp carving materials and techniques.  From simple stamps, to two part stamps and repeating stamps, everyone will go home with new supplies, new stamps, and new knowledge.

I love putting together the kits of goodies for them, even a multi blade carving knife to keep!  Every time I teach this I find new and better things to include!

Hope all of you can come!  Call (316) 284-2749 to sign up!

Also coming up later in September, I am having the first ever Studio Open House!

You can come see where I work, buy discounted artwork, shop all the art supplies I am weeding out, and eat snacks and visit a bit!  If you are in the vicinity of central Kansas and interested in coming, send an email to victoryrd@hotmail.com and I will give you more details.  Hope all of you can come!

Have a lovely weekend!

    • I wish you did too! But if you can ever make it to Wichita for a long weekend, you could catch 3 different workshops in one trip; one on Thursday evening, and then two more on Saturday!
