I have shared this art journal page before, but I thought it would be a fitting welcome to my new followers who hopped over here from my guest post on Julie Balzer’s site yesterday. This page is an example of how I use Citra Solv altered papers as a collage element in my work. Love this whimsical lady and her bird, and the color scheme adds some variety to my journal pages. Gotta love the Albert Einstein quote too!
If you happened to miss the how to Citra Solv post on Julie’s blog, go here.
Happy Citra Solving!

I’m one of those “new” followers and so glad to be here. This is stunning! Also loved looking at your repurposed bags, wish we’d kept my sons jerseys.

So glad I found your blog (through Julie’s post) – have been meaning to try the citra solve technique – still looking for some old National Geographics 😉

I have had good luck at thrift stores, library book sales, and a want to buy add on Craigslist. Welcome to the blog, and happy hunting!

What a gorgeous piece. It’s amazing to me how the National Geographic pages morph into such beautiful patterns

Isn’t it though? I have always admired the beautiful photography in National Geographic magazines, it’s no wonder the melt into such wonderfully rich colors!
