I have a passion for making art and creativity accessible for everyone, so have created my workshops to be appropriate for both novice and experienced makers. I provide all the supplies that are needed, unless otherwise specified. The workshops listed will be held on Victory Road (exact address given upon registration) near Haven, KS. with the exception of an occasional one at a different location which will be specified! JULY 15-18 – ALL THINGS GEL PLATE PRINTING
This four day class is for the beginning gel plant printer as well as the more experienced. We will be covering not only the basics, but also all those fun, experimental, and mixed media approaches. We will use stencils, found tools, and a variety of media. We will make monoprints, reverse painting, image transfer and even collage on the gel plate. We will be creating not only lovely papers, but also finished artworks.

June 27 – Cyanotypes
No time like summer to spend some time playing with cyanotypes! Join me for this workshop that will cover the basics, as well as delve into how to turn these into beautiful pieces of art... mixed media style of course! We will be gathering botanical bits, using antique glass negatives, transparencies, x rays, and more! We will be covering ways to alter the colors, add natural dyes and add mixed media on top of. We will even cover using fabric and will make a cyanotype pencil pouch. All materials supplied, but if you have your own film negative, special lace, or maybe even x-ray that you want to use for a personal touch you are welcome to bring!

Learn the tips and techniques for making beautiful collage papers as well as finished artwork using the magic of Citra Solv on magazine pages. You will go home with a stack of papers as well as an 11 x 14 inch artwork.

September 12 and 19 – Pour and Paste Landscapes
Two half day sessions needed to create these unique and satisfying poured landscapes. Learn how I vary poured paintings to creae a base for collage. The nex week we will come back to our dried pours and add collage and paint to finish these off.
