We try to keep Sundays restful around here, and doodling keeps my mind from running a thousand directions. I find it a wonderful way to meditate on a Scripture, and make it become familiar if not memorized. It is actually a week long project as I come back to it in odd moments through the week. It also helps me brush up on hand lettering and try out different ideas!
