I came across this little gem at a garage sale. The unusual cover, with an illustration of gnarled roots, caught my eye. When I opened the cover and saw the illustrations, I knew it would be mine!
Published in Great Britain, it was written in 1915 by Rex Vicat Cole. It is a whole discussion on trees in art, with illustrations to go with! Since trees are one of my favorite subjects, this book will be a lovely little resource.

I just found out about this book today while searching drawings of Dean Cornwell. I love drawing tree. Now I am searching for a copy. Apparently there’s plenty used one.
