With a new ink pen and bottle of ink to try out, I started sketching faces in my art journal this week. I have been really working on developing faces this year so I am playing with some different proportions, shapes, and colors. Isn’t it great how no two faces are the same?
After filling the pages with face after face, I started coloring them with my new Tombow markers. I really like how you can add water for a watercolor look. I feel like a little kid with my first “magic paint” book!
The faces are far from perfect, and even a little wonky and scribbly… but hey, practice makes perfect (or perfectly imperfect?) right?
What do you wish you could draw better? Are you practicing?
