I am starting to get excited about a whole weekend of workshops coming up in Jerseyville, Illinois.
We will kick things off on Friday night with “Mixed Media on the Cheap” full of tips and recipes for inexpensive mixed media supplies. And of course we will need to do a project to try them out!
Saturday will start off with one of my favorite classes, “Focus on the Negatives”, an exercise in reverse painting for a super fun look.
Next up is the class we all seem to need on “Simple Steps to Great Lettering” where we will learn how to adapt our own style into great looking lettering.
We will finish the day with “Who Can Resist” all about achieving a unique look using a variety of resist techniques.
And then, for one last class on Sunday afternoon, we will shift to “Leather Painting” a fun class to learn the in and outs of painting leather first hand!
All in all it should be a super fun weekend! Snacks and a light lunch on Saturday are provided.
Jerseyville is a little less than an hour north of St. Louis. If that is in your neck of the woods, call Darla at (618) 954-8135 and get signed up!
