I feel rather passionate about art being accessible to everyone, and sometimes that means figuring out cheaper alternatives to expensive art supplies, or using what you already have around the house.
I made this fish on a 8 x 18 inch pine board as an example piece for upcoming workshops* called “Mixed Media on the Cheap.” Step by step, and supply by supply I will lead participants through the process to create their own fishy friend.
To add to the fun, my grand daughter worked right alongside, making her own fishing trip.
If you would like to attend the workshop and create your own fishy friend:
In Jerseyville, Illinois on April 8, 6 -8pm – contact Darla @ (618)954-8135 to sign up.
In Wichita, Kansas on May 14, call Tessera Fine Art Gallery @ (316) 262-2435 to sign up.
