After the workshops in Jerseyville we headed up to Galesburg for a trip to a Dick Blick outlet store. We spent the night at a darling little bed and breakfast in nearby Knoxville called Walnut Grove farms.
It is an old two bedroom farmhouse decorated as cute as can be.
The owner has paid lots of attention to detail in its furnishings.
That vase with the feathers is actually an enormous gourd!
Lots of dried flowers hang in the stairwell. It is lovely to see how she uses them in arrangements all through the house.
Such a fun place! If you are ever in central Illinois, it is a great place to stay!
