Last week I gave you a look at some of the furniture I hand painted, both of which sold at the Vintage Market Days show last weekend. I also decoupaged a couple of pieces. This chest of drawers has a vintage wall map of the U.S. decoupaged on it. I can just imagine the sense of dressing for travel and adventure when getting clothes out of a fun chest like this!
We replaced the original wooden knobs with these cool cast metal ones that I painted to match the chest.
The other piece is this fun vintage night stand with a soft pink paint job, and paper and paint drawer fronts.
I opted for these pretty glass drawer pulls on these drawers. This would be so precious in a little girl’s room, … or in a Victorian parlor!
It is so fun to take something old and shabby and unwanted and make it into something new!
(If you are interested in either of these pieces, email me for more details at victoryrd@hotmail.com)

They’re both beautiful. You must be really proud of them.
