I love using stencils! And that means I make myself new stencils to use in my art all the time! And that means that I make the best of them available to you! I have introduced three new stencil designs to my line up this week. These were all created to use with my stenciled Citra Solv technique, but I have also been using the small 6 x 6 inch version in various painting projects and am very happy with them! The above design is “Stacking Stones”, inspired by a hike to a waterfall in Montana where we say dozens of stone stacks at its base.
Another new one is “Run for the Hills”, or turned upside down it looks like mermaid or fish scales, or maybe the belly feathers on an owl. I used it in the background of “In the Key of Blue” an 11 x 14 inch original which is currently available at Tessera Fine Art Gallery in Wichita.
And my third new stencil is “Gridly” inspired by a new abstract grid technique I have been using lately.
All three of these stencils are available as either a 6 x 6 inch stencil, or a 12 x 12 inch stencil, along with many other designs, through my etsy shop.
Do you love stencils as much as I do?
