There is so much you can do with a gel plate! Come to this all day workshop to not only learn how to make a gel plate and the tools to use with it, but also how to use the gel plate to make mono prints, decorative papers, artwork, image transfer and more! Go home with a stack of pretty papers, a piece of art, AND your very own 12 x 12 inch gel plate to use again and again!
There will be a one hour lunch break. Bring your own lunch, or order out to one of our local restaurants.

October 12 – Tufting with Abby
Learn how to design your own pattern, use a tufting tool, create a 12 x 12 inch piece, and how to finish off your work ready to use as wall art, a pillow cover, or more! All materials will be provided with a selection of yarn colors, and everything else you will need.
Mixed Media Encaustic
Love encaustic, but feel intimidated about giving it a try? This class will cover approachable and inexpensive ways to include encaustic as part of your mixed media artwork. We will include the use of acrylic paint, collage, oil sticks, shellac, and wax to create our works of art. Have your own simple subject in mind, or use one of my references.
