Poppy Plethora

Poppy Plethora was made by first splashing, dripping, and blowing a canvas full of inks and paints in poppy colors. With the resulting red covered canvas, I isolated individual poppies and stems by carefully painting around each with a dusty blue paint.  I added in more subtle stems to end up with a deep stretched canvas covering plethera of poppies!
