Today’s doodle is from 1 Peter 3:15:
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”
I strayed from my usual watercolor or gel pen on this page, and simply used a waterbrush around the letters that I outlined with a black Flair felt tip pen.
I love the way the Flair ink gives a washy, watery feel and use it often in my artwork.

Thank you for this drawing! I am creating “memory work,” books for my Sunday School class and I was looking for a page they can color for the first page of their books. I am so glad I was able to find your post! This is the perfect verse!

Thanks. This is our theme verse for church retreat and I was trying to find some kind of interactive coloring item that was more multi-generationally appropriate. This is perfect.
