An all day workshop got canceled on Saturday, so since I have several looming projects, I took the opportunity to do some catching up, as well as have a little fun/practice/Imagineering.
I am currently working on illustrations for another children’s book by Brad Chapin, this time in conjunction with Brooke Stover. The images are still top secret, but I am making headway on the illustrations, using a mix of acrylic, watercolor, and copic marker.
I also finished up the button design for my hometown Fall Festival… can you guess the theme?
I designed some patterns, and an alphabet that will hopefully become rubber stamps….
Did a little much needed cleaning in the studio… I am a very messy worker!
Worked on practicing faces… love my new Beautiful Faces book by Jane Davenport.
And, also found time to pull out my watercolors for a bit of play time!
How has your weekend been?
