I love sunflowers, and their representation of my home state of Kansas. This mixed media is a bit of a departure from my normal style, as most of what I work on while camping turns out to be.
My outdoor “studio” while camping was where the majority of the work was done. Just needed a little touching up once back home.
(The 16 x 20 original is hanging at Artlandia in Hutchinson through the end of the month.)
