Another of the workshops that I did in Illinois was a leather painting workshop. Everyone did three projects, a leather key fob, a pouch, and a cuff.
For the key fob and the cuff, we painted first, then added the hardware, making it easy to paint. Painting the pouch was a warm up for going home and painting shoes, purses, belts, or billfolds!
We used durable Angelus leather paints, and did some touch ups with acrylic paint markers.
The results were great, and I think everyone had a lot of fun!
