Let’s Face It

“Let’s Face It” is a purely collage piece on a 8 x 8 cradled wood panel.  The face was made from a stash of collage papers and a couple of old postage stamps.  The hair is made from Citra Solv altered National Geographic Magazine pages.  I enjoy the challenge of limiting myself to using only paper when it is so tempting to reach for a paint brush… especially when doing small details like eyes!

This artwork is currently hanging at Tessera Fine Art Gallery in Wichita and is $40.  Call (316) 262-2435 to purchase.
