Last week I told you about my messenger bags, today I am going to feature a couple of my painted globes. The one above has the ocean painted in a black matte finish, with mixed media collage continents. The second one is a deep navy blue with shiny and striking gold continents. Which look do you prefer?
They both have words painted on the other side, in the Pacific Ocean. If you want to see more views, head over to my etsy shop for a look!
For the month of April I will have art at The Flower Nook in Salina, KS. The opening reception will be first Friday, April 5 . If you have never been there, they have all kinds of lovely things!
Also in April I will have my art featured at the Salina Community Theater, which is just a little ways down the street from the Flower Nook. Showing there is “Sunday in the Park with George“, so purchase some tickets for a fun day out on the town in Salina!
The last week or two was also a time of farewells…
To some artwork that sold:
And a big farewell to Tessera Fine Art Gallery. My art has all been removed, and my wall now looks like this:
A huge thank you to all of you who have been loyal workshop attendees and customers during the last few years there! My workshops will continue here on Victory Road, and my art will still be available in many locations: next door in Gallery XII, at The Workroom, City Arts Boutique, in my etsy shop (prints, cards, stencils, and all kinds of other creative stuff!), right here on my website, and in various featured artist shows , in the area. Thank you for all the positive words and encouragement you have sent my way in this transition time!
I am truly excited about workshops in my new sunny space! Many of my supplies (stencils, paper packs, pens, etc.) will be available for purchase during the workshop times.
I am introducing a couple of new stencils this week: “Flower Child” (shown used above) and “Deco”. They are both available in both 6 inch and 12 inch sizes in my etsy shop.
Which do you like best?
And, do you like less posts with more content, or more frequent but shorter posts?
