Project Seeing 2020 June Pages

The learning curve continues for my video making! Tell me, do you guys prefer a narrated flip through like this one, or one set to music? Check out the May pages flip through for a music version.

Coming soon will be the August Prompts and printables. I am letting my Project Seeing 2020 Reboot workshop have the first peek this weekend. It is already so fun to look back over all the pages. I don’t know about you, but the beginning of the year already seems like such a different time.

Some of the benefits that I have enjoyed from this daily challenge:

  • As it turns out, there has been a lot of processing needed this year! This has been the perfect opportunity to sit and reflect a bit. Sometimes I wrote my thoughts, other times I just spread some paint around or glued down images while I contemplated things.
  • It has held me accountable to daily creativity. Just like anything else, our creativity gets rusty if we don’t use it. Even though I am a professional artist, days can go by that I don’t make it into my studio. I need the daily creative habit in my life!
  • It helps me practice things like lettering (especially lettering!) and drawing, and since the days go by quickly, it helps me not be a perfectionist about it. It is what it is and a new day is right around the corner! It has freed me from feeling like every page has to be a winner. If I DID IT its a winner!

How about you? Have you been playing along? What are some of the benefits you have noticed?
