Bison’s Bounty

“Bison’s Bounty” is a combination of Citra Solv techniques and collage.  I used my own wheat stencil to create the background on strips of National Geographic magazine pages treated with Citra Solv concentrated cleaner. The bison is created by wiping away the ink for highlights, and using some touches of paint where needed, to create the darker areas.  I finished off the piece with the addition of collage plantlife in the foreground cut out of found papers.  I love the rich earthy colors of this piece!
