I have a passion for making art and creativity accessible for everyone, so have created my workshops to be appropriate for both novice and experienced makers. I provide all the supplies that are needed, unless otherwise specified. The workshops listed will be held on Victory Road (exact address given upon registration) near Haven, KS. with the exception of an occasional one at a different location which will be specified! Whether traveling abroad, or hanging out in our own neighborhood, we get so much more out of our journey through life when we take time to see and document the world we live in. Work in the supplied booklet style journal, or bring your own to record a past journey, or prep for a future adventure. We will look at lots of inspiration, and create flips, flaps, pockets and more.

March 15 – A Closer Look
We will use watercolor and ink as a starting place to create an abstract microscopic style view. This is a relaxing intuitive process and we will include a foray into neurographic art.

MAY 10 – FINGER PAINTED FLOWERS PLUS
A super fun workshop that allows us to loosen up by finger painting about 95% of the piece! We use various media, but mainly acrylic paint, as well as some paper, to compose and carry out a floral still life.
Mixed Media Mantras – January 25
Words play an important role in artwork from social commentary to personal meanings. This workshop encourages the creation simple mantras and then quick and easy mixed media techniques to turn them into hangable artworks. Take these techniques home to incorporate them into your own art practice.
