Waiting for Inspiration…

“You can’t wait for inspiration.  You have to go after it with a club.”

Jack London

Ever feel that way when you sit down to create?  Usually I have more ideas swirling around my head than I know what to do with, but once in awhile it comes time to complete a project, which means I must START the project, and I just sit there stumped.  I have to surround myself with a low stress, creativity inducing environment for a bit until the juices begin to flow again!

What inspires your creativity?

Sometimes, it is you that inspires me to create. Other times, it is browsing through an issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors or Art Journaling, gathering with other creative pals or just unearthing my many mixed media supplies and getting a power surge toward creativity. I just might lose myself in art play and love every nanosecond of it. I’m so grateful to be a Gemini and have a multitude of interests, which make it difficult to become bored. I consider my aptitude for the creative side a fabulous plus in life and wouldn’t change a thing other than possibly more art income, but I’m sure that I’d just use the money to purchase more art supplies to be sold at my gigantic Estate Sale, after my demise. Yes, the Creative Life is GOOD!!
