Eleanor Roosevelt

Instead of a single quote today, you are going to get several!  I have been plugging away on my tribute journal, where each spread features a person (or even fictional character) and something about them… usually a quote or something that I like or admire.

This spread is a tribute to Eleanor Roosevelt.  She said so many great things that I put several of them on the page.  I simply printed them out in a typewriter font, cut them up and glued them on the page like they are streaming out of her mouth!

A few of my favorites:

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people”

“In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves.  The process never ends until we die.  And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.”

Do you have a favorite Eleanor quote?

I love to wake up to your uplifting blog every morning. Keep up the good work. I love what you do with Citra-sol papers. I just found this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt a few days ago….”The future belongs to those that believe in the beauty of their dreams”.
