Rainy Day Bouquet

Rainy Day Bouquet is one of my finger painted drippy and splattered floral bouquets.  I love making these, they are so relaxing and fun… and a good way to get me working a little looser.  There is something about the tactile experience of actually having your fingers in the paint that is soothing.

I will be teaching this technique at Tessera Fine Art Gallery on Saturday, March 17 from 1 to 4pm.  Cost is $45 and includes all the supplies you need to make a 16 x 20 canvas of your own flowers.  You will also get to try out Golden high flow paints as well as learn how to make your own high flow.

Hope you can join the fun… but if not, go ahead and give fingerpainting a try at home!

Last week during final friday I had fun in the gallery classroom fingerpainting a couple of pieces. Here they are as works in progress …
