We have had a wonderfully wet (but also cold and even snowy!) April, but the last few days have been the most beautiful spring days you could ask for. It has gotten a slow start around here, but spring IS coming! Things are beginning to bud and bloom! Makes me think of this old adage, “April showers bring spring flowers”. To celebrate the season, I have made a coloring page that I thought I would share with you! Just right click, download and print.
To draw this page I used a pen out of a past Art Snacks box, the Marabu Fineliner Graphix. The one I used was a .08 which is a bit bigger than what I usually use, but I do like the boldness of the lines. I am also practicing up for my Lettering Workshop at Tessera Fine Art Gallery on May 10. I love showing people how thay can dress up their own handwriting to make some great looking lettering!
