Digital Planning, and a FREE coloring page!

I thought that along with sharing a coloring page with you today, I would also give you some peeks of my digital planner now that I have been at it for a couple of months.

First off, this is an image of a week in my paper happy planner so that you can see how I use a planner.  This layout works very well for me, so I needed to find a digital version with the same layout.  I found one on etsy that is a nearly identical layout. Here are a few of the pages on my digital planner.

As you can see it works pretty similar.  I do miss the feel of pen and paper, but I enjoy having less papers to deal with!  My life feels a little more streamlined, and that is a much needed benefit.

There is also a month view, which I can flip back and forth to easily.  You can even use digital stickers, high lighters, etc. to jazz things up! I uploaded some of my own digital collage sheets and use them in my planner.  How fun!

I am using the good notes app on my refurbished, 1st generation ipad pro.  I got the big, page size 12 inch version because when I draw, it gives me a nice big surface, and when I plan, it is big enough to look at the whole spread at once.

To draw my coloring pages, I have been using the Procreate app, which is a pretty impressive drawing tool, allowing me to use brushes, pens, pencils, charcoal,… whatever drawing/painting tool I want. I can also work in layers allowing me to make a sketch, then ink it on another layer, then turn the first layer off for a nice clean print.  No more clean up work before they are ready to post!

Feel free to download and print the above coloring page for your own coloring fun!  I haven’t gotten around to coloring this one yet.  I would love to see what you are doing with these pages, please send images to me at victoryrd@hotmail.com and I will post them here on my blog!

Hope you are on your way to a great week!

    Thanks, Kayann!
I love your colorful paper blog and how well it transferred into digital format. I appreciate all the Scripture quotation pages that you include in your emails. I am going to color this one and use it in a prison ministry Prayer Letter. Unfortunately, the inmates we serve are all in solitary confinement or on death row and have no access to coloring materials. I hope to make this visually engaging and pray that it will bring light into their darkness.
