Making Plans

I love this time of year when we take stock of the year that has been, and make plans for the year to come. It is a time full of hope and promise, with goals made to make personal, relational, and business improvements. But while I believe goal making, resolutions if you will, are a good thing, helping us go forward with a sharper focus, today’s coloring verse reminds me to leave room for God to redirect MY plans and goals. That is my meditation as I first draw, then color this verse. Hope you will also find it a useful tool for a bit of thought on the close of 2018, and planning for 2019.

I am also compiling a list of 19 business goals for 2019. I will probably do a personal list as well.  I don’t always meet all my goals, but I come a lot closer than if I hadn’t named them and been intentional about working toward them through the year.  There are going to be some changes of focus for me in the coming year, so I am looking forward to seeing what the new year will bring!
