I recently carved a giant 9 x 12 inch stamp and pulled some prints that I am offering in my etsy shop. The proceeds from the first five prints sold will go to the local food bank to help those hit hard by Covid 19 closings.
A previous mixed media piece, ‘Burrowed In’ was the inspiration for the piece. I thought it would be fun to make some adjustments and do this as a carved piece.
I used an orange marker to keep track of what I wanted to carve away, and otherwise just had fun with it! Here are the results on 11 x 14 inch Bristol paper:
