Art Supplies and Stickii Club

posted in: PRODUCT REVIEW | 0

Happy Friday everyone! It has been awhile since I shared any product favorites with you, so today I have a few things to share. One thing that I have been really enjoying is this vintage Prang watercolor tin, like the one I used in grade school. I filled it with watercolor half pans and a selection of colors for my on the go bag. I still plan to add magnets to the bottom of the half pans, but with it filled they seem to stay in place pretty well. I did pick up a pyrrol scarlet and hansa yellow to round out my selection.

I am also really excited about the Daniel Smith watercolor sample cards that I got. When I was trying to pick a red, I realized that the selection is a bit overwhelming! Daniel Smith has 238 colors of watercolors, and now I have a little dot of them all to try out and see which ones I really like.

There are a few other things I picked up as well, and you can see my full haul in this You Tube video:

Also on the video I share my February Stickii Club stickers. I feel a little childish, but I have been loving these stickers to use in my planner, or to add to notes and cards to people, or just to share a sheet now and then with others… like my collage pack patrons. There is just something so happy about a sticker! The cool thing about a stickii club subscription is that it comes right to your mailbox (I don’t get out shopping much!) and you have the option to customize it each month. You can get an extra pack, or change what style of pack you want. I also love the organizer pouch that they come in.

And speaking of organization, here is a last new supply that I want to share with you. I got these nifty little sturdy plastic envelopes on sale from Scrapbook.com to store the small little collage bits in. I have them stowed in the top of my ikea raskog cart along with small cases of postage stamps and other small collage goodies. These are what I reach for most often. If I can’t find what I need in the little envelope, then I go to my stash of bigger pieces.

I don’t get any kickbacks from any of these products, I am just sharing what I have been enjoying!
