I have been working on this piece off and on for the last couple of years. I finally decided to “put a bird on it” , two birds in fact. I love trees, and though it has been quite a number of years since I last climbed one, I still find myself evaluating their merit by their climbability. This one seemed appealing in that regard, so I have dubbed it “The Climbing Tree”. It is acrylic and collage on a 16 x 20 inch stretched canvas.
This piece currently hangs at Dillon Nature Center through the end of May.
